    AI Categorisation

AI sorts your catalog and your campaigns. You approve it.

AI Categorisation gives every SKU a four-level category path and groups ad campaigns on Google, Meta, TikTok and Reddit by product category. Suggestions wait in a review queue, nothing publishes until you approve it, and a health score shows what still needs attention.

Product and campaign mapping each have their own dashboard, mapping table and review flow. Both are reached from Integrations, under Data configuration.

    The tagging problem

Reports are only as good as the categories behind them.

Category charts and filters need every product and campaign sitting in the right bucket. Tagging them by hand takes time, and new SKUs and campaigns keep arriving.

    Hand-tagging does not scale

Assigning a category, audience, type and family to each SKU in a spreadsheet is slow, and it is the first thing to fall behind after a launch.

    Untagged items distort the picture

Products left in Uncategorized and campaigns left in Other drop out of category views, so spend and sales by category do not add up.

Automatic tags are hard to trust

A tool that rewrites your taxonomy on its own is risky. You want to see each suggestion, fix the wrong ones and keep your corrections.

    What you see

Inside Product and Campaign Category Mapping

Both pages share the same layout: a Dashboard tab for health and exceptions, a mapping tab for the full table, and a sync button that proposes new suggestions.

Each tab describes one screen, with its parts numbered.

A health view of the product taxonomy, with the exceptions that need fixing listed beside it.

    1. 01

      Four tiles

Available SKUs, AI-Based Mapped, Needs Review and Manual Overrides. The Needs Review tile opens the review queue.

    2. 02

      Catalog Health ring

Shows the percent of SKUs mapped and confirmed, labelled Healthy at 80% or more, Needs Review from 50 to 79%, and Needs Attention below 50%.

    3. 03

      Status message

Spells out what is left, such as how many SKUs still need mapping or review, or "All good! You're up to date."

    4. 04

      Action Hub

Click an alert to fix issues inline. Missing Category flags items without a category, and Generic Type flags items using a generic type.

    5. 05

      Published SKUs by category level

A bar chart per level, so you can see how your published products spread across the taxonomy.

    6. 06

      Products needing attention

A table with inline editing, so you can correct a tag and confirm it without leaving the dashboard.

    Capabilities

    What AI Categorisation does

A four-level path for every SKU

Category, Audience, Type and Family give each product a consistent path that category filters and charts can use.

    Suggestions wait for approval

AI proposals go into a review queue. Nothing publishes until you approve it, one row at a time or in bulk.

Approve in bulk, fix the exceptions

Approve high-confidence suggestions together, then edit the rest inline from the dashboard or the mapping table.

A health score with clear tiers

A ring shows the percent mapped and confirmed, with Healthy, Needs Review and Needs Attention tiers at 80% and 50%.

    Overrides you can undo

Manual edits are marked as manual overrides, counted on the dashboard, and can be reset to the AI suggestion.

    Campaigns tied to product categories

Campaigns on Google, Meta, TikTok and Reddit are grouped by product category so ad spend can be reported by category.

    The reason is shown

Each campaign mapping carries the AI's reason in a tooltip, so you can check a decision before you accept it.

    Sync only what is new

After the first onboarding run, Sync New Products and Sync New Campaigns pull only the additions.

    Use cases

Who uses it, and for what

    Ops lead onboarding a brand

Pulls every SKU, lets AI propose the full mapping, approves the high-confidence rows in bulk and works through the flagged ones.

Data or ops manager after a launch

Runs Sync New Products to bring in the new SKUs, reviews the suggestions and approves them so category views stay complete.

    Analyst cleaning up the catalog

Opens the Action Hub, fixes items marked Missing Category or Generic Type inline, and watches the health ring move up.

    Performance marketer

Maps new Meta and TikTok campaigns to product categories after launch, clears the ones stuck in Other, and checks the AI's reason on anything surprising.

    Impact

    What changes for your team

    Less hand-tagging

AI does the first pass across the whole catalog and your campaigns, and your team reviews instead of typing.

    Cleaner category views

Category charts and filters across the dashboards rest on a taxonomy you have approved.

    You stay in control

Review before publishing, visible reasons and resettable overrides mean the taxonomy stays yours.

    Good to know

What it needs, and what it doesn't do

    What it needs

    • A selected brand with your product catalog connected, so SKUs can be pulled in.
    • For campaign mapping, connected ad accounts on Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads or Reddit Ads.
    • Someone to review the suggestions. Nothing is published until it is approved.
    • Access through Integrations, under Data configuration, where both mapping pages are linked.

    What it doesn't do

    • It doesn't change anything on Amazon or on any ad platform. It maps your data inside Trivas for reporting.
    • It doesn't publish on its own. AI suggestions stay in review until you approve them.
    • Campaign mapping covers Google, Meta, TikTok and Reddit campaigns. Confirm with us before relying on other channels.
    • The AI is a first pass, not a guarantee. Flagged rows and campaigns in Other are there for you to check.
