Know which promo codes actually pay for themselves.
Promo Analysis shows gross sales, discount given, net sales, ROI and average order value for every discount code. Spot the best, highest-ROI and most-used codes at a glance, then compare any two codes, discount categories or offer types, with a winner named for each metric.
Reviews how past promotions performed. Codes and sales come from your connected store data.
Discounts are easy to launch and hard to judge.
A code can bring in plenty of orders and still cost more than it earns. Working that out usually means matching codes to orders in a spreadsheet, long after the promotion ended.
Codes and orders live apart
Connecting each code to the sales it drove means manual matching, so it rarely happens for every code.
The cost of the discount is hidden
Sales look good until you set them against the discount given. Without that ratio, a busy code and a profitable code look the same.
Comparing offers is slow
Is free shipping better than a percentage off? Is one influencer code beating another? Each question needs its own analysis.

What Promo Analysis does
Return on every discount
ROI is net sales divided by the discount given, shown as a multiplier, so the cost of a code sits next to the sales it brings.
Order value per code
AOV is gross sales divided by redemptions, so you can see whether a code attracts big baskets or small ones.
Share of total sales
% Contribution shows each code's gross sales as a share of your business's total gross sales for the same range.
Standout codes surfaced
Best Performing, Highest ROI and Most Used codes appear as headline cards, one click from the detail.
Head-to-head comparison
Compare two codes, two discount categories or two offer types, and see which wins on each metric.
Discount Efficiency
Discount as a share of gross sales. It is the one metric where lower is better, and Trivas treats it that way when naming a winner.
Current vs previous period
Every code's timeline can be set against the previous period to see what changed.
Filter by status, category and offer
Narrow the list to active or inactive codes, a discount category or an offer type, then sort by the metric you care about.
Who uses it, and for what
Ecommerce marketer
Sorts codes by ROI and opens the top one to see how its sales, discount and new customer mix moved over the campaign.
Retention manager
Looks for inactive codes with a strong ROI that are worth relaunching, and checks the new versus returning customer split.
Finance lead
Compares Discount Efficiency across offer types to see which kinds of discount cost the most for the sales they bring.
Partnerships manager
Compares two influencer codes on AOV, redemptions and ROI, and sees which one the numbers favour.
What changes for your team
No more matching codes by hand
Gross, net, discount and redemptions are in one place for every code, instead of a spreadsheet built after the fact.
The cost of discounts is visible
Discount given and ROI sit beside sales, so a busy code is judged on what it earns, not on how often it is used.
Clearer retire-or-renew calls
Side-by-side comparisons with a named winner make it easier to decide which offers to repeat.
What it needs, and what it doesn't do
What it needs
- Promo code and discount data that depends on your connected store data.
- Sales data for the same period, so contribution to total gross sales can be calculated.
- A time range. Comparison against a previous period is optional.
What it doesn't do
- It is a review of past promotions, not a simulator. It doesn't forecast how a future promotion will perform.
- It reads data and reports on it. It doesn't create, change or end discount codes in your store.
- ROI is a ratio of net sales to discount given. It is not a profit figure and doesn't include your product costs.
